Details

A 4.9 million acre refuge, including the volcanic islands of the Aleutian chain, established to converse marine mammals, seabirds, and other migratory birds. Habitat to 40 million seabirds, and over 30 species.

Loons, Grebes, Tubenoses, Cormorants, Bitterns, Herons, Egrets, Waterfowl, Hawks, Falcons, Gallinaceous Birds, Cranes, Coots, Plovers, Oystercatchers, Stilts, Avocets, Sandpipers, Jaegers, Gulls, Terns, Auks, Puffins, Doves, Cuckoos, Owls, Nightjars, Swifts, Hummingbirds, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Flycatchers, Larks, Swallows, Jays, Crows, Titmice, Nuthatches, Creepers, Wrens, Muscicapids, Accentors, Wagtails, Pipits, Waxwings, Shrikes, Starlings, Vireos, Wood Warblers, Sparrows, Blackbirds, Finches.
